As we’re still in the start-up phase of this project it will take a little while before we begin pumping out loads of stuff for the community. There’s a lot of planning and design decisions that need to be made and tested, such as the overall art direction, tile and sector sizes, sound and music and other key features.

As mentioned in one of the recent updates, our first goal is to make a playable vertical slice of the game focused on the tactical layer of the game. This version will basically be the alpha version of the game, so some of the JAF backers will have access to the game and will be able to give us feedback. We aim to have this version ready late 2013 or early 2014.

So a quick status on that would be to say that we’ve pretty much mapped out the first alpha sector and decided which art assets should be in there. We’re still fiddling with camera distances, character modeling, customization options and the overall detail level, it’s just something that needs to be tested and played around with until decisions can be made.

Next update is on it's way, but we got delayed as we wanted to make a video and parts of the team have been sick ;/ 

You must have missed Update 34 where we annouced the winner ^^.
